Kids I (Age 5-6) & Kids II (Age 7-8) - Round Robin
Each child will be weighed prior to the start of the age group and placed into the correct weight bracket.Should the number of competitors in a weight bracket exceed 5 it will be split into parts consisting of no more than 5 competitors. For example, 1-5 competitors will compete in a single round robin, 6-10 competitors will be split into Part 1 and Part 2 and compete as two separate round robins, 11-15 competitors will be split into Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 competing as three separate round robins. Each part of the bracket will be contested as a round robin, all competitors competing against one another in a single match.
The winner of each part of the bracket will be determined by the competitor with the most wins. If two or more competitors are tied the winner of the match between the two tied competitors will be awarded first place. If more than two competitors are tied for overall wins the competitor who accumulated the most total points in all of their matches will be awarded first place. Same method is used to break ties for second place. All competitors will be awarded a medal with the part of the bracket they participated in, no competitor will be on the podium with another competitor they did not compete with.
